Learning to LEAD
Joe Bulman
We live in a time where individuality has taken precedence over generational transfer. We are not the first generation or people to experience this. However, every generation in the past that has gone down this road has failed. We must realize that as Christians we are called to lead. We are commissioned to lead in Matthew 28. If we don’t take our role as spiritual leaders, then we are setting the next generation up to fail. Today we are going to take a look at what and who a good leader is and the qualities a good leader must possess to help in the process of generational transfer. [Text: 1 Kings 19:19 -21, 2 Kings 2:1-14]

Lead
We are all leaders, “I AM A LEADER” Matthew 28:19

Accountability
We have to hold the next generation accountable.
Jericho: Moon God: we have to hold the next generation accountable for their time and their focus. We must help them identify distractions and false gods that will pull them away from their calling.

Disciple
We have to take seriously our role as disciples and realize that we are not looking to make replicas of ourselves, but to encourage transformation in a generation that is statistically going to turn their back on God.
